ⓒ 한옥한글 (Hanok-Hangeul)

<한옥한글>은 전통 한옥의 건축적 구조와 조형미를 바탕으로 한글 자모를 독창적으로 재구성한 문자 디자인 저작물이다. 한옥의 조형적 특징을 반영하면서도 기존 한글의 형태적 특성을 유지하고, 자음과 모음이 각각 독립적으로 인식될 수 있도록 연구와 설계를 거쳐 제작하였다. 또한 타이포그래피 및 시각예술 창작에 활용하기 위한 문자 조형 시스템으로 구현하였다. 본 저작물은 2013년 한국화 작업(한옥에서 한글을 보다) 시작으로 전각(돌새김)과 문자 조형 연구를 바탕으로 지속 수정 및 발전시켜 완성한 <한옥한글>의 기준 문자 디자인이다.

<Hanok Hangeul> is a typography design work that creatively reconstructs the letters of the Korean alphabet based on the architectural structure and formative beauty of traditional Hanok. While reflecting the unique structural characteristics of Hanok, it maintains the intrinsic forms of the traditional Korean script, meticulously researched and designed to ensure each consonant and vowel is clearly and independently recognizable. Furthermore, it has been implemented as a systematic character design framework intended for application across typography and visual arts. This work represents the foundational script design of the <Hanok Hangeul> series, which has been continuously refined and developed since 2013, rooted in initial Korean painting projects (titled "Seeing Hangeul in Hanok"), seal carving (Jeongak), and extensive research into textual form.
